Victoria Chick’s New Mexico art studio is located on a juniper covered hillside overlooking the Rio de Arenas basin and the mountains of the Gila National Forest. Mule deer and elk are frequent visitors and hummingbirds enjoy abundant summer wildflowers. The Grand Opening of Cow Trail Art Studio is set for Wednesday, August 11, at NOON, to correspond with expanded days and hours to accommodate visitors. The new days and hours are: NOON to 3 p.m. Monday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. A portion of the studio wall space will be devoted to exhibiting woodcuts, etchings, linocuts, lithographs, and drawings from my collection of 19th and 20th century art. The exhibit will be changed every two months. I'm always happy to talk about art and and artists. Visitors may also catch me involved in a work of my own in progress. The address is 119 Cow Trail, Arenas Valley, New Mexico. The driveway gate will be open during the above days and hours. It is locked at other times. Watch for possible deer, elk, and free range horses on Cow Trail (a dirt road). This is New Mexico where every day is an adventure! My work can also be seen at JW Art Gallery, 99 Cortez in Hurley, New Mexico. They are open Wednesday through Friday from 9 -5 as well as Saturday and Sunday from 10 until 6.
